Participation in clubs and activities helps students develop a sense of camaraderie and make friendships based on common interests outside of the classroom. We encourage students to get involved and have some fun while they learn new skills.
21st Century Community Learning Center
Otto-Eldred Elementary is pleased to announce a partnership with our local YMCA to offer an after school program. It is an enrichment program designed to give students extra support with homework, literacy, and math, and incorporates activities such as STEM, photography, physical education, science, and much more.
In addition to tutoring services, students will be able to participate in character education programs, wellness programs, art and music, technology education, drug and violence prevention programs, family literacy programs, and plenty of physical activity. Participants also receive healthy snacks daily.
Our goal is to make sure that all students graduate with the knowledge and skills they need to succeed in college and careers.
The program is held after school each day at the Otto-Eldred Elementary School until 5:45 p.m. Busing can be provided for students who need transportation home.
Enrollment forms are available at the school, the Bradford YMCA, or are included below. They are also available on the YMCA website. Pre-registration is required and space is limited, so please sign up soon!
This after-school enrichment program is completely free for participants and is funded by a grant from the Pennsylvania Department of Education. Please find more details and an enrollment form for the program below:
